    The polls show everything I need to see about what the public thinks of the ads.

    While they may not say they support the ads and the public may not say they are having an effect with them and while the public may link them to Bush, they are having an effect and I have seen no signs it is hurting Bush.

    Remember in almost all the polls the percentage of voters that view Bush as honest has gone up and those that see Kerry as honest has gone down.

      ...why?

      Correlation isn't causation.  I've seen no evidence that the SBVT lies have been responsible for any changes we've seen in the polls.  On the other hand, the only evidence we do have, which you dismiss seemingly without reason, points to the idea that the SBVT lies have not been the cause of the changes we've seen.

      Let's be realistic, and acknowledge that the polls have closed.  But let's also be realistic and acknowledge that the evidence we have doesn't point to the SBVT'ers being the cause.
